Newly-promoted Excelsior are still searching for their first win in the Eredivisie when they welcome Dutch giants Feyenoord to the Stadion Woudestein on matchday two. Excelsior are anchored at the bottom of the table, while Feyenoord are in sixth place. Here's our match prediction.
After spending one season in the Eerste Divisie, Excelsior managed to seal promotion back to the Eredivisie. They achieved this feat by securing a second-place finish in the second division last year.
The Kralingers had an impressive showing in the pre-season games before the beginning of the 2025-26 Eredivisie season. They stormed to a five-match unbeaten run, recording four wins and a solitary draw. However, they were stopped in their tracks on the final day, losing 3-2 against Cambuur.
