Bournemouth will look to continue their recent success against Everton as the sides meet at MetLife Stadium on Saturday in the first match of the 2025 Premier League Summer Series. This match comes with our prediction of a win for the Cherries over the Toffees.

Everton finished 13th in the league last season, while Bournemouth finished ninth, which was their best-ever result in the top flight. The seasons were contrasting for the two teams, as the Toffees flirted with relegation for a long period, while the Cherries were in contention to finish in European qualification spots.

The off-season preparation hasn’t yet found the right gear, with a 1-1 draw against Accrington and a 1-0 loss to Blackburn being their results so far. Those results underlined the lack of signings for a side that hasn’t refreshed in the off-season.

Bournemouth had to hit reboot after a successful season, as two of their defenders left the club. That hasn’t stopped them from starting with wins in their two friendlies so far.
