Ignacio Buse is the 31st seed at Wimbledon but he has never won a match in this grass court Grand Slam. The Peruvian aims to change that when he takes Emilio Nava in round one. Nava is yet to win on grass this year and therefore our prediction is a win for Buse.
Round two will see the winner face either Jenson Brooksby or Aleksandar Vukic, both unseeded.
Buse has only played in this tournament once before and was beaten in the first qualifying round last year. He has had plenty of success on other surfaces and was 34th in the last ranking list. On grass, he has a 2-2 record this year.
Round two was reached at Queen's Club and in Mallorca, where he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in his first match.
Emilio Nava was over 50 places below his opponent in the last rankings. The American has played in this tournament on two previous occasions. Both visits saw him beaten in the second qualifying round but he went straight into the main draw this year.
On grass, Nava has played one match this year, losing to Hamish Stewart in Eastbourne.
