Elche lost their last match 2-0 to Real Sociedad, which was their fourth in their last six matches, along with one draw and one win. The hosts unsurprisingly have the worst record by some margin in home fixtures this season, winning just one of their 13 matches at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero, along with eight losses and four draws. Elche will not expect much in this match and will likely hope to merely contain the margin of defeat in this one.
