Hearts travel to Tannadice Park to take on Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership this Saturday and will be looking to stay in contention for Europa League qualification. Upon returning to league football last weekend, the visitors were dominant, beating second-from-bottom Kilmarnock convincingly by three goals to one. They find themselves fourth on the Premiership table with 25 points, just one behind third-placed Aberdeen, who has a tricky away fixture to St Mirren. Hearts' recent form has been decent, having won three, drawn one, and lost one of their last five league matches. They've also been quite strong on attack, scoring 27 goals in their 17 games; however, keeping a clean sheet has become all too rare for the side from Edinburgh, who has allowed 26 goals in so far this season. Hearts won the reverse fixture against Dundee 4-1 earlier in the season and will firmly be expecting a similar type of performance this time.

Dundee United has been very poor this season and will be hoping for a change of fortunes in their first game back after the World Cup break. They are currently rooted to the bottom of the table with only 12 points in 16 matches. The Terrors have had just three wins this season, and only one in the last five matches, along with four losses. Their defense managed only one clean sheet in their last six games while conceding ten goals. While keeping teams out has proven to be the major difficulty for Dundee United, they've been notably better at the other end of the pitch. They average 1.25 goals scored per game, which is a better record than the likes of Livingston, who are currently sixth in the league.
