Dundee United are still hopeful of qualifying for next season's Conference League. The Tangerines end their season with a home match against Aberdeen who are a place above them in the table. Here's our match prediction.

Going into this final match, Dundee United are in the final Conference League qualifying position but only a point ahead of St Mirren. They are three points behind Aberdeen but a win would see them finish fourth due to their better goal difference.

United are struggling for form though. The midweek loss at Rangers made it four successive league losses with 13 goals conceded. Six of the last eight at home have been lost with one goal iin the last three.

Aberdeen are guaranteed European football next season and are in the Scottish Cup final later this month. The Dons are also in poor form and lost 5-1 at home to Celtic on Wednesday. They cannot finish higher than fourth in the table.

The loss to Celtic was their third straight defeat and ten goals have been conceded.  Away form is poor with just two wins in their last 15 league fixtures. That includes a 1-0 loss at Dundee United last December.
