The top half of the draw has worked out perfectly as Novak Djokovic takes on Roger Federer. It's a match that always comes up with the goods and this could be another absolute classic. It's 22 wins each between the two players but there's more to that story. In recent years Djokovic has risen to the top of the rankings and he has won five of their last seven meetings. Federer did beat him in the round-robin stage of the ATP Finals last year before losing to him in the final. His only other reasonably recent win was in the Cincinatti Masters. In terms of five-set matches, Djokovic has won the last three. He had a tough game in this tournament against Gilles Simon but has won his other games in straight sets. Roger Federer remains one of the top three players in the world and on his day can beat anyone. He hasn't won a Grand Slam since the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and his last Grand Slam win away from Wimbledon was here in 2010. When push comes to shove in Grand Slams it's Djokovic who has the upper hand these days so I go for him to get the win and reach yet another final.
