Until proven otherwise, Marin Cilic remains the master of the house at the Flushing Meadows. The Croatian defending champion fought hard to dominate Tsonga after a long battle (6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4). Never really returning to the level we saw last year during the same period in the season, Marin slowly starts to regain momentum in the Big Apple and that’s a warning for Djokovic. As for the Serb, we haven’t seen solid performances against Bautista-Agut (6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3) and Feliciano Lopez (6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6) Djoker must raise his game if he has any hope of contesting a fourth Grand Slam final in 2015.
