Matchday 2 in the Republic of Ireland Premier Division will see Derry City playing host to Bohemians at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Saturday evening. Derry City ended last season on a downward trajectory, winning only one of their final eight games of the campaign with half of those matches ending in defeat.
The Candystripes kicked off the new league campaign on a sour note too, suffering the heaviest defeat of the opening week, losing 3-1 at the hands of defending champions Shelbourne on the road.
