Denmark vs Faroe Islands Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies

Denmark face the Faroe Isles in a warm up fixture for their Euro 2024 campaign. Kaspar Hjulmand's team qualified comfortably from their group, despite losing their second and last games away to Kazakhstan (3-2) and Northern Ireland (2-0). In between though, they won seven of their 10 group games and finished top of the group ahead of Slovenia on head to head record. This is the second in a series of four home games the Danes have heading up to Euro 2024 and it is the one that they should win most comfortably given the gulf in class between the two teams.  The Danes will be able to call on three players with 100 caps or more, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, defender and skipper Simon Kjaer and midfielder Christian Eriksen as well as Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund who has 7 goals in his 11 caps so far for the National team.

The Faroe Islands didn't win a game in Group E, losing six and drawing two games (away to Albania and Moldova) to finish bottom of the group eight points behind Moldova in fourth. They did manage to secure their first win in 11 games last Friday night when the defeated Liechtenstein 4-0 in a friendly played in Marbella in Spain. Those goals were the first goals since June 2023 for the Faroe Islands, who managed to find the net just twice in all of their ten qualifying games. It is clear that this is a team that is ill-matched against their Danish opponents and they could be set for a very difficult evening in Brondby on Tuesday night.
