Darmstadt vs Mönchengladbach Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Two of the bottom three meet in the Bundesliga this weekend. Damstadt are bottom of the table and host Borussia Monchengladbach who are in two places above them in 16th. The home side won promotion last season and are in the top flight for the first time since 2017. It's been a difficult start for The Lillies with each of their first three games being lost and ten goals being conceded, while scoring just two. Their return to the Bundesliga began with a narrow 1-0 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt. A tough fixture list has since seen them beaten 4-1 at home by Union Berlin and then 5-1 at Bayer Leverkusen. In both matches the score was 1-1 at one stage.

Borussia Monchengladbach are also still looking for a first league win of the season. The Prussians have at least earned a point and what a draw it was. Their opening Bundesliga fixture saw them travel to Augsburg and come home after drawing 4-4. They led that match 2-0 and 3-1 but still needed a late penalty to earn a point. That was followed by two home losses to Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. The Foals seriously need to improve their away record in the Bundesliga. They have gone nine away league fixtures without a win. Their last win on the road was back in January when winning 4-1 at Hoffenheim. Since then they have only earned four points and all but two of those games have had over 2.5 goals scored. We believe that stat will come up again this weekend.
