Day 2 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship will draw to a close with Damon Heta facing off against Steve Lennon on Friday night. The winner of this match between The Heat and Scuba Steve will meet either Raymond van Barneveld or Stefan Bellmont in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Damon Heta has qualified for every World Championships since 2020 and has reached the third round in each of his last four campaigns. Last year, he lost to Luke Woodhouse 4-3 in round 3.
The Heat has notched up two Players Championship titles in 2025 (PC 13 and 20). He also reached the latter rounds at the World Masters and is now ranked 16th in the PDC Order of Merit.
However, the Aussie did suffer a first-round elimination at the PC finals last month and was beaten by this opponent 6-5 on the European Tour in mid-October.

Scuba Steve’s victory over Heta stands as his most notable result in recent times, while he has also had a good run at PC24, where he defeated Andrew Gilding en route to the last 16.
Lennon lost to Adam Paxton in the first round of PC34 last month and has a record of four wins and six losses in his last 10 matches in all competitions.
