Crystal Palace vs Everton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

The mood at Selhurst Park has changed dramatically in the past few weeks. They are up to 12th place in the Premier League and look for a fourth successive win when hosting 17th placed Everton. There were considerable relegation problems when Roy Hodgson returned to the club. It's all changed though with three successive league games and Palace are now nine points above the bottom three and with a much better goal difference. There's talk again about a top ten finish with the Londoners only six points behind Fulham but with an inferior goal difference. Palace had gone 12 Premier League games without a win and scored only five goals. That's been followed by three wins over Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton with nine goals scored. It has helped that they've been playing struggling sides all battling relegation but Palace are playing with a confidence that just wasn't there a few weeks ago.

Now they take on another struggling side who may well be playing Championship football next season. Everton were nearly relegated last season but managed to survive. The comments made then were that they should never find themselves in such a perilous situation again but that's not been the case. Relegation would be a disaster for the club who are already making massive losses off the pitch. They are only out of the bottom three on goal difference with seven games remaining. Last week saw them beaten 3-1 at home by Fulham, their second successive league defeat. Only one of their last eight Premier League games has been won and that was at Goodison Park. Just four points have been earned from their last 11 away league fixtures  Just one away league match has been won this season and just two in the last 32. It doesn't matter who they have in charge, Everton just can't get results on the road. Back Palace to get the win here.
