One of the top Championship fixtures this Saturday will see second-placed Leeds travelling to Coventry who are four points outside of the playoff places with a game in hand over Norwich who are in 6th. A loss at home to Cardiff on Easter Monday was a blow to their playoff hopes with their weekend visitors providing a far stiffer test than the Welsh outfit. Defence has been their issue in the second half of the season. They kept seven clean sheets in all competitions at The Ricoh Arena prior to the turn of the year but only two since, against National League South outfit Maidstone in the FA Cup and bottom-of-the-league Rotherham. They have a trip to Wembley later this month against Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final but have to concentrate on the league first.

Leeds have lost just once in 2024 from 19 games in all competitions, a 3-2 defeat at Chelsea in the FA Cup where they succumbed to an injury-time winner for The Blues. They had to work hard for results over Easter, twice coming from behind to claim a point away at Watford before a pair of goals in the last few minutes saw them beat Hull 3-1 at Elland Road on Monday. Leeds have scored two or more goals in five of their last six games away from home as well as four of their last five at home. These teams drew 1-1 earlier in the season but that was more down to Leeds being unable to take their chances.
