Clermont vs Toulouse Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Bottom of the table Clermont face an improving Toulouse in Ligue One on Sunday (2pm Kick Off) with Les Lanciers hoping to land just their third home win of the season. Pascal Gastien's team did beat Le Havre last time out and a win here would represent the first time that they have won two games in a row this season. Their home form is actually the same as their away form in terms of points gained (10) but they have scored one fewer goal at home than away from home and with 19 goals, they have found the net the fewest of any Ligue 1 team this season. They have just two wins in their last 15 games and have not scored more than two goals in a game this season.

Toulouse come into this game on the back of two defeats, but prior to that, Les Violets had been on a good run of three wins where they had beaten 3rd place Monaco, fourth placed Lille and fifth place Nice in successive games. Those wins moved them away from the drop zone in Ligue 1, but the defeat to Lyon last time out saw them drop five points behind the improving Lyonnaise side. Carles Martinez Novell's team have certainly been entertaining to watch, with both teams scoring in 6 of their last seven games. They have also landed four wins in that run, two of which have come on the road, including a 1-0 win away to 17th place Metz, the team ranked above Clermont.
