Clermont have gotten off to a disappointing start to their 2025 Top 14 campaign. The Yellow Guys suffered a 34-24 defeat to defending champions Stade Toulousain in their opening match. They lost by another double-digit margin (34-16) against Stade Rochelais at the weekend. 

However, the three-time champions remain difficult opponents at home. They have won four of their last five home fixtures, including each of their last five home encounters with Section Paloise. 

Section Paloise will look to maintain their perfect start to the campaign. They edged past Castres Olympique by two points on the opening weekend before cruising to a 34-10 victory over Stade Francais Paris in their last outing.

The victory over Stade Francais Paris saw Les Sectionnistes rise to third in the standings with nine points. They have now won each of their last six Top 14 matches dating back to last season, including their three most recent away fixtures.
