Chelsea missed out on European football last season but are back this time around and can get off to a good start in the group stages of the Champions League. They face Qarabag from Azerbaijan with Roma and Atletico Madrid also in the group so they can't afford any slip-ups here. After that disastrous start against Burnley on the opening day of the season, Chelsea have won their subsequent three games against Tottenham, Everton and Leicester and will again be title challengers. Home form is strong with only PSG winning at Stamford Bridge in their last eight Champions League ties and only two losses in their last 18 Premier League home games. Qarabag are competing in the group stages of this competition for the first time and had to win three ties to get this far beating Samtredia, Sheriff Tiraspol and Copenhagen.. It wasn't the easiest of times with only an away goals win over Copenhagen. They have a 100 percent record in the Azerbaijan league this season winning all three of their games. In European football they have only won three of their last nine games on the road and their only previous visit to England saw them lose 3-1 to Tottenham in the Europa League. Chelsea are hitting top form with three straight wins and can get off to a good start in Europe with a win on a -2 handicap but there are much tougher games ahead in this group.
