Chelsea and AC Milan will wrap up their preparations for the upcoming 2025-26 season with a friendly on Sunday. This match at Stamford Bridge comes with our prediction of under 2.5 goals.
This will be the last friendly for Chelsea before beginning their 2025-26 Premier League campaign on 17th August with a match against Crystal Palace. Milan will come here after a friendly against Leeds on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium. This game against Chelsea will be their last friendly before turning their sights to their Coppa Italia game against Bari on 17th August.
The Blues defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 on Friday with goals from their two new arrivals, Estevao and Joao Pedro, in either half. The result follows their impressive unbeaten run in the Club World Cup that saw them lift the title with six wins and a defeat.
Having kept three consecutive clean sheets, including against PSG in the final of the Club World Cup, Chelsea will be eager to dish out another defensive masterclass.
This will be Milan’s third friendly against an English club in the off-season. They lost 1-0 to Arsenal before defeating Liverpool 4-2. The Saturday friendly against Leeds will continue their search for consistency, as they thrashed Perth Glory 9-0 before playing Leeds.
