Celtic will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they host Livingston in round 19 of the Scottish Premiership. This match sees the top and bottom teams on the table collide. Celtic top the standings yet again but in recent outings, they have seen their hold on top spot significantly weakened. Brendan Rodgers’ men have uncharacteristically lost their last two league games. After losing 2-1 away to Kilmarnock to see their unbeaten start come to an end, the Bhoys were shocked at home by Hearts. The 2-0 defeat that came last time out also ended a more than two-year run without defeat at home in the league. They will now seek to get right back on the horse and facing this season’s whipping boys will have them confident of this. Celtic, who have played a game more than second-placed Rangers, have a two-point cushion at the top. They are unbeaten in six meetings with Livingston and have won five straight.

Livingston sit in a very precarious position in danger of suffering relegation if things remain as is. They have managed to win only two of their 17 matches and their 10 defeats are the most so far. David Martindale’s men haven’t won in two months and have lost eight of the nine matches in this period. They were defeated 2-1 last time out away to Aberdeen to remain six points from safety. Livingston, who have scored just 10 goals so far, have lost their last five away matches. They have failed to score in three of those and have conceded eight times. In their last four meetings with Celtic, the Lions have failed to score three times and have conceded three goals three times.
