Celtic can take another step on the road to the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday as they host Kilmarnock at Celtic Park. With a 13-point lead over Rangers and just six league games remaining, The Hoops need just two wins to clinch the title. Killie, on the other hand, are battling to avoid eleventh spot and a dreaded relegation playoff . Our match prediction is outlined below.
Well clear of Rangers in second, Celtic’s march to the title is a question of when, rather than if. The Celts have 78 points from 32 games with a huge +71 goal difference. Killie lie 9th in the table on 35 points from 32 games level with Ross County and one ahead of Dundee in eleventh.
Strangely, Celtic has lost three of their last six games, their worst run in the league this season. That includes a home defeat 3-2 to Rangers followed by a 3-0 win over Hearts also at home but last week they went down 1-0 at St. Johnstone.
The bad news for Kilmarnock is that they have won just two away games all season and have lost eight of their last ten on the road, including all the last five. That includes a 5-1 thrashing my St. Mirren in their last away game, although they did beat Motherwell 2-0 at home last weekend.

Our Celtic vs Kilmarnock Prediction
Our prediction for the Celtic vs. Kilmarnock Scottish Premiership match is: Celtic to win and Both Teams to Score - No.
Celtic may have stuttered in recent weeks, but for the majority of the SPL season they have been excellent. Kilmarnock have struggled to match their efforts of last season and their record against Celtic in recent matches is woeful. With goals in short supply for Killie, it is hard to see them causing Celtic too many problems in front of the Hoops own fans hence Celtic to win without Kilmarnock scoring is the bet to back.
