Celtic will host Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership, with the hosts looking to take a step closer to securing the title with another 3 points. Celtic are in pole position in the league after a 2-2 draw against title contenders Rangers in their last fixture away from home. The defending Champions are unbeaten in 13 matches to date, including four wins in their last six matches. They are on 55 points from 20 matches and have recorded 18 wins so far this season. The last time these teams met, Celtic won by a massive five-goal margin, which extended their record to 10 matches without defeat against Kilmarnock. Of those ten matches, nine ended in three points, with a goal deficit of 23 in favour of the champs. Celtic has a perfect home record this season, winning 9 of 9 matches, scoring 28, and conceding just seven goals in that time. It's going to take an all-mighty effort for the visitors to come away with anything from Celtic Park. 

Kilmarnock is on something of an unbeaten streak themselves, with two draws and a win in their last three matches. They currently sit ninth in the league, with 20 points in as many games. Their last result was a credible goalless draw to 5th placed St Mirren a week ago, which was their fifth of the season, along with five wins and ten losses. The last time the visitors were able to overcome the mighty Celtics was over four years ago, back in September 2018. Their away form this season has been their biggest downfall, as they are yet to record a single win on their travels. Their away record includes two draws and eight losses in 10 matches this season, with the last home win coming against Hamilton in May 2021.
