Ceara welcomes Palmeiras to the Castelao for this match in the Brazilian Serie A. The home team are in 12th spot with 24 points while the visitors are top of the table with 39 points. Ceara lost their last match 1-0 to Juventude which ended a run of two victories. Despite the loss they still managed to hold onto 12th place on the table which is the last qualifying spot for the Copa Sudamericana. The mid table is very congested with just six points separating eighth place and 16th place. Ceara have only lost two of their last nine matches across all competitions with five wins and two draws. Their home form has been excellent as they are unbeaten in their last 13 matches with eight wins and five draws. Ceara are on a four match winning run at home.
