Matchday eight of the Super Lig will commence on Friday evening when Caykur Rizespor welcome Antalyaspor Kulubu to the Caykur Didi Stadium in Rize. The Black Sea Sparrowhawks currently sit in the relegation zone with just four points, while The Scorpions have doubled that point total leaving them in 13th in the league table after seven matches. Rizespor found themselves unlucky to lose 1-0 against Alanyaspor last weekend after a 99th-minute decision by VAR saw them have their last-gasp goal disallowed.

The team from Rize have now seen five consecutive defeats in which they conceded 13 goals and have not managed to get themselves on the scoresheet only once.

Three of those losses have come at home, with Karadeniz Atmacası only managing one point on home soil this season when they drew 1-1 to Istanbul Basaksehir in matchweek one.

Meanwhile, The Antalya Stadium would see Fenerbache leaving with all three points after two goals in the second half took the match away from The Scorpions.

Antalyaspor will still hold some confidence, though, after that defeat as they had managed to claim two victories and a draw in their previous four outings.

However, they will hope to turn their form around when away from home as a weak defence has seen them lose two and draw one, while conceding nine goals in their past three matches.
