The pick of the matches in the PSL this weekend will see Cape Town City playing host to Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday afternoon. The hosts are currently in fourth place, while the visitors sit atop the league standings. Cape Town City have been solid again this season. That stat looks even more impressive when considering that Sundowns have played three fewer games than the sides around them, owing to their involvement in the continental cup competitions. The defending champions lead the league in almost every statistical category, including goals scored, with 23 already to their name, while they have only conceded three in their 11 matches. Sundowns have outscored this opponent 7-0 during their unbeaten run against them, which dates all the way back to August 2020.
