Cameroon will finalize their World Cup preparations with a friendly match in Abu Dhabi, against Panama. The African giants will face Serbia, Switzerland and Brazil in Group G of the 2022 World Cup thus need to prepare well for this tough pool. They have already seen tough times, after qualifying top in a group that had Ivory Coast, then eliminating Algeria in the final round of qualifiers. Cameroon have however struggled in recent matches, and come into this game with a draw and two losses in their last three games. Their 1-0 win against Burundi is the only clean sheet Cameroon have posted in the last four games, while they’ve failed to score in two of their last three matches. Each of their last four games has produced under 2.5 goals, a trend that has been seen also in their last eight friendly matches.

Panama failed to secure a second straight World Cup appearance after struggling in the CONCACAF qualifiers, where they missed a place in the playoffs by four points. They did well in the CONCACAF Nations League in June but they aren’t on a fine run anymore, with just a win in their last six matches. In their last three games, they have a loss and two draws and are without a clean sheet, while three of their last five matches have seen under 2.5 goals scored. Panama have however managed to score in each of their last four matches though their away form isn’t so inspiring. Panama have conceded two or more goals in three of their last five away matches. In friendly matches, Panama have managed just one win in 10, losing five and drawing the other four.
