Cameron Norrie vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - US Open

Seventh seeded Cameron Norrie attempts to reach his first US Open quarter final. He takes on ninth seeded Andrey Rublev, with the winner up against either Rafael Nadal or Frances Tiafoe in the last eight. Norrie hadn't reached a Grand Slam quarter final at all until his run to the last four at Wimbledon this year. He's overcome a terrible start to the year (which may cost him a place in the Tour Finals) by becoming very consistent in recent months. He reached the final in Los Cabos and the last four in Cincinnati. This tournament has seen him win three matches, all in straight sets. It's 1-1 in previous matches against Rublev but Norrie won the most recent one last year. That was on an outdoor hard court.

Andrey Rublev tends to make a good start to the year but then have a dip in form. He has won three tournaments this year but they were all int the first six months of the year. It's similar to how he played last year when ultra-consistent for the first half of 2021. He's dropped out of the top ten and began this tournament in 11th place. Rublev is back up to 10th in the live rankings and rise to ninth with a victory here. He's reached two US Open quarter finals and also the last eight at Roland Garros this year. Rublev has had a struggle to get to the fourth round. He's had to go to five sets in two of his three matches and had to win the last two sets to get past 19th seeded Denis Shapovalov in the last round. Back Norrie to get the win here as he looks in the better form.
