Cagliari’s quest for stability will meet a bit of headwinds as AC Milan are next on their roster in a Saturday Serie A match. The struggling Rossoblu sit just a place above the relegation zone as they welcome Rossoneri. Follow on for our prediction.

There won’t be many happy faces at Cagliari, at the height of three straight defeats. They weren’t expected to do much in any of those matches though.

Cagliari had identical 2-0 defeats to Bologna and Udinese before Lazio stepped in in the more recent match. That one Cagliari lost 2-1 and in three of their last five at home, they lost without scoring.

Milan are coming from a key win in the Champions League, beating Real Madrid away from home. They go into a third straight away match, but they know this will not be as tough.

While their opponents are reeling from consecutive defeats, Milan are on back-to-back victories. The visitors’ only defeat in the last five matches was against leaders Napoli, also the only time they failed to score in that period.

Before beating Real Madrid 3-1, Milan had recovered from that Napoli loss to win 1-0 at Monza. Their away form in Serie A has been rocky, winning just two of the last five league games on the road.
