Cadiz and Osasuna will face off in an important bottom-half battle in La Liga on Sunday afternoon at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla. The hosts are currently in 16th place in the league standings, while the visitors are two places above them. Cadiz have managed just 12 points in 15 games this term, leaving them just three points above the relegation zone. The Yellow Submarine come into this match following their exit from the Copa del Rey. They were beaten 2-1 by lower-division outfit Arandina, extending their recent run of results to five matches without a win. During that time, they also drew against Celta Vigo and Mallorca, while Real Madrid and Getafe beat them. In league terms, their winless record is now up to 11 in a row, including six losses and five draws. The last time Cadiz tasted victory was on September 1 against Villareal. The hosts are the lowest-scoring team in the league this season, with 12 so far, and are the underdogs in this one.

They won the last encounter 1-0 last season, which extended their unbeaten run against Cadiz to a whopping 11 matches. During that period, they recorded ten wins and one draw and were last beaten by this opponent in September 2005.
