Burnley vs Brentford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Burnley are 18th in the Premier League and looking set to be relegated back to the Championship. They host Brentford who are 15th in the Premier League but struggling for form. The Clarets won promotion last season but like the other two clubs also promoted (Luton Town and Sheffield United), they are battling relegation. Burnley are ten points from safety but have an appalling -35 goal difference. They drew their last league game at West Ham but let slip a 2-0 lead and conceded a 91st minute equalizer. At least the point earned ended a run of four consecutive league defeats with 13 goals conceded. It’s ten league games without a win for Vincent Kompany’s side. Not since late December have they won a Premier League match. Home form isn’t helping them much with just five points from 14 games with the only win being against Sheffield United.

Brentford won the reverse fixture 3-0 and could really do with a win at Turf Moor. The Bees aren’t buzzing at present and are only five points above the bottom three. Their last three away league games have all been lost and that makes it ten for the season. Only one point has been earned from the last five away league matches with eight of the last nine being lost. They did play well at Arsenal last time out and will be hoping to get a win from this match. Our prediction is for both teams to score considering they’ve conceded 114 league goals between them this season.
