Burkina Faso and Tanzania will face off in Group B at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night. Our prediction is that both teams will find the net here after their opening games in the competition ended as high-scoring affairs.
Burkina Faso’s 2026 WAFCON campaign kicked off disappointingly, as they were handed one of the biggest defeats of the opening round, losing 4-1 to Ivory Coast on Monday night.
The Ladies Stallions managed six shots, 48% possession and 0.78 xG in their opener at the start of the week. Faouzia Ouedraogo was sent off, while Adama Congo scored their only goal.
