2025 European Rugby Champions Cup winners Bordeaux Begles are already in this season's knockout stages. The Begles are top but this weekend play their final Pool 4 away at second placed Bristol. Time for our match prediction.
Bordeaux will win the pool if they can get a fourth pool victory away at Bristol. They are only four points ahead of third placed Northampton Saints. If they were to be beaten and Saints win, then the French club will play an away tie in the last 16.
Last weekend saw them beat Northampton at home in a repeat of last season's final. The Begles scored eight tries in that match and will be going all out in this match to ensure they play at home in the last 16.
Bristol have also already qualified for the knockout stages. A win sees them top the pool but with only a three point lead over Northampton (home to Scarlets this weekend), they may well be on their travels in the knockout stages.
They are in good form though with each of their last seven games being won. Bristol are fourth in PREM Rugby with all five of their home games being won. Three of the last four have been by narrow margins.
