Bristol City will welcome relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town in their next outing when the Championship enters Round 43. The hosts are assured of Championship football next season, sitting on 57 points, while Huddersfield sit just above the drop zone. Bristol are coming from a resounding 5-0 win over another struggling side, Blackburn Rovers. The three points earned there mean Bristol no longer have to look over their shoulders as far the relegation battle is concerned. It was their fourth undefeated game, with three wins in the run. Five clean sheets in the last six matches must have left Liam Manning wondering why this run of form didn’t come earlier. Scoring five times in a game was also a massive surprise for the Robins. They hadn’t scored more than a goal in eight of the prior nine matches. A second straight home match will, however, be welcome for Bristol City. Of their nine wins in the Championship this season, only three came in away matches.
