Brentford will be looking to keep their hopes for Europe alive when they welcome West Ham United at the Gtech Community Stadium for a Match Day 36 meetup. The two sides are fighting on opposite ends of the league standings, Brentford ninth on 50 points and West Ham 15th on 37 points. Brentford are coming from a 1-0 loss to Liverpool, a result that ended their three-game unbeaten run and they will seek to finish the season remainder on a high. Coming into this game, they have two wins in four games but one clean sheet only in five. Brentford have suffered two losses in their last five matches. Two of Brentford’s last three matches were London derbies, and they claimed wins over Nottingham Forest and Chelsea. They also beat Fulham earlier, and drew with Arsenal and Crystal Palace in other derbies but here they meet the side that eliminated them from the FA Cup in January and will seek revenge.

West Ham United haven't beaten Brentford in a league game; they have played three times in the league and Brentford have claimed wins in all. In their first meeting this season, Brentford collected three points courtesy of first half goals from Ivan Toney and Pelenda da Silva. West Ham however got one back over Brentford with 1-0 win over Brentford in the FA Cup in January and they will seek a second straight away win. The Hammers are seeking three points that would guarantee safety but beyond that, they can put a gloss to their season with some European silverware. They are coming from a 2-1 win over AZ in the Europa Conference League semi final first leg, and could choose to rest players here ahead of their trip to the Netherlands for the return match. A poor away run in the league is however a big detriment to their plans, having managed just two wins in 15 away league matches.
