Jack Draper is pushing to emulate Andy Murray as the only other Briton to win the ATP London title. He will be up against Brandon Nakashima in the second quarter-final, this being their fourth career match. The winner here will meet Jiri Lehecka or Jacob Fearnley, and below is our prediction.

After eliminating Daniel Evans, Nakashima has a tougher Briton to face. He had an easy match in the second round, beating Evans in straight sets, but has to brace up for a potentially season-defining game.

A confident run on grass will work well for the American. This season in five grass matches, he has four wins, picking up from where he left off last season.

Draper won the only meeting on grass between these two. That was in Stuttgart last year, and he will be confident of repeating the feat at home.

He came into this event as a favorite and has so far lived up to the billing with wins against Jenson Brooksby and Alexei Popyrin. Conceding a set in his latest win will, however, concern Draper’s camp.

He has only managed wins by straight sets in four of his last 10 matches, and it is the same number in his last 10 on grass. Draper has never gone past the quarter-finals at ATP London; this is his third time at the stage.
