Bournemouth face Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday (3pm kick off) with the home fans hoping that their win over Burnley last weekend not only put paid to a seven-game winless run in the league, but also heralds the start of another run of better form for the Cherries. At the start of the season, Bournemouth lost six and drew 3 of their first nine games, but then followed that with a run of 7 wins in their next nine games. However, they then failed to win their next seven. Perhaps the streakiest run of form in the Premier League of all time. It was a 2-1 win at Burnley that started their good run of results earlier in this season and with four very winnable home games in a row starting today, the Cherries will be looking to follow that trend again here.

Despite having the worst away form in the Premier League, Sheffield United's away form is better than their home form at the moment. That is chiefly due to their one away win at Luton happening in the last couple of away games. Despite that, the Blades have been in dreadful form of late, especially at home and with just 13 points, they remain rooted to the foot of the table with a Premier League low 22 goals scored and a league high of 72 goals conceded, 12 worse than any other team. Chris Wilder has a huge task on his hands to lift a team that look devoid of confidence and talent at this level unfortunately.
