AFC Bournemouth come into matchday 21 of the English Premier League in desperate need of a positive result as they face off against a Nottingham Forest side looking to continue their solid run.  Bournemouth have been on a horrid run of form since returning from the World Cup break, losing all six of their matches played and managing to score only two goals total during that stretch. They’ll hope that a return to the Vitality Stadium will give them a lift as the Cherries slumped to eight away matches without a win following their most recent 2-0 away defeat to Brentford last weekend. Bournemouth have fallen dangerously close to the relegation zone as they hover just above the bottom three places in 17th-place with a one point lead over 18th-place West Ham. They’ve managed just four wins from their 19 matches this season although three of those victories came on their home pitch. 

The visiting Nottingham Forest look to make it three straight victories in the Premier League following their most recent 2-0 home win over Leicester City last weekend. Forest have been on a positive run of form since returning from the World Cup break, racking up two league wins and a draw against Chelsea to go along with advancing to the EFL Cup semi final after a penalty shootout win over Wolves. The Tricky Trees managed only their first away win of the season in the current Premier League campaign on their last trip after overcoming bottom-of-the-table Southampton to record a 1-0 victory at St. Mary’s. Manager Steve Cooper will fancy his team’s chances to make it two-in-a-row against one of the most out of form teams in the division. Forest have shot up to 13th in the standings thanks to their recent run, putting them on 20 points and holding a five point lead over the bottom three.
