Bolivia welcomes Peru to the Estadio Real Santa Cruz for this Friendly International. The home team played their last match back in September which they lost 2-0 to Senegal while the visitors beat Paraguay 1-0 in their last match earlier in the week. Bolivia will be desperate to win this match and end their five match losing streak. They had a disastrous World Cup qualifying tournament where they finished second last in the South American qualifying group, winning just four of their 18 matches. Bolivia conceded an incredible 42 goals during the qualifiers at an average of over 2.3 goals per match which was the worst defensive record in the group. They conceded eight goals more than the Venezuela who finished in last place. Bolivia were on a four game winning run at home before losing their last three home games.

Peru are fresh of an excellent win over Paraguay and they will be hoping to repeat that performance in this match. The visitors will feel bitterly disappointed on missing out on the World Cup as they finished just two points behind the fourth qualifying team from the South American qualifiers. They did however make it into the playoff competition for finishing in fifth place. Peru then suffered more heartbreak as they lost the playoff final to Australia on penalties. They will be looking for their third consecutive win in this match to ease the heartache of that loss.
