Blackburn vs Millwall Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

The alarm bells are beginning for both Blackburn Rovers and visitors Millwall. Blackburn are 17th in the Championship with Millwall a place below them but only on goal difference. Both clubs are just one point above the Championship relegation zone. Blackburn lost 2-1 at Swansea City on Saturday, never recovering from going 2-0 down in the first 19 minutes. That extended their winless run in the Championship to five games with just one win (over Stoke) in the last 14. They now have two home games this week with a visit from Plymouth (only a point above them) at the weekend. Rovers played well in the FA Cup last week against Newcastle United, only losing on penalties. They need to start reproducing that kind of form in the Championship. Home form has seen them win six out of their 17 home league games but losing eight. Both teams have scored in all but two of their last 16 games in all competitions. The reverse fixture between these two sides saw Blackburn win 2-1.

Millwall are also starting to look anxiously over their shoulders. The Lions have found some form in their last two games with wins at Southampton and at home to Watford. They were much needed victories after losing six of their previous seven league fixtures. Millwall have won five of their 17 away games in the Championship this season with seven matches being lost.  They'd lost three in a row on the road before winning 2-1 at Southampton.
