With only three points separating Birmingham and Stoke in the lower-half of the Championship table, their match is going to resemble a tight battle. It is their poor scoring record that has let them down as Stoke have netted just 21 goals in this season, and only the bottom-three sides have a poorer record after 23 rounds. Their record on the road isn’t any better in terms of wins, as they are winless across their last four away league games – drawing and losing two each.
