Seventh seed Ons Jabeur will play unseeded Bernarda Pera in the fourth round at the French Open. Pera has been inconsistent this season. Before arriving in Paris she had won the same number of matches as she had lost. Her three wins at Roland Garros to advance to the fourth round for the first time have taken her win tally to 15. Pera and Jabeur have met each other twice before and the American won their last encounter in Guangzhou in 2019. With a win here, Pera will set up a clash against Beatriz Haddad Maia or Sara Sorribes Tormo next.

Jabeur however has evolved into an all-round player and will be confident of reclaiming her advantage in this fixture.
