Seriously who is going to stop this Benfica side? Chaves is up next, but they surely are not coming at it with confidence. The Lisbon train did not stop in midweek as well, taking a resolute as much as thrilling 4-3 win over Juventus and set to battle first place in the group next week. Roger Schmidt’s side are now twenty games unbeaten in the season, just two shy of equalling their best ever start to a top-fight campaign. They have also remarkably won sixteen of those affairs, while they have scored at least four goals in three of their last four home games. As one can imagine, Benfica are deservedly top of the Portuguese Liga standings as well, having conceded just five goals in their ten games played so far.
