Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund have had strong starts to 2023 and will be hoping to continue in the same breath when they face off next in the Bundesliga. Hosts Leverkusen will go into this game having posted 24 points, in ninth place. They are three places behind Dortmund who have 10 more points. There has been a marked improvement at Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso and the team comes into this game with five straight wins and having scored two or more goals in all.
