Demirbay also had a good game and Leverkusen should be pumped by the news having star youngster Florian Wirtz closing in on a return to full training after a lengthy injury. The likes of Lunev, Adli and Bellarabi are out injured and won’t feature in this one. With regards to Simeone’s side, it was nice for Antoine Griezmann to not have to rescue his team as a super sub this time, with both Carrasco and De Paul having great games and getting on the score sheet as well.
