The 107th edition of the KNVB Beker will see AZ Alkmaar and Go Ahead Eagles battle it out for the prestigious silverware this Monday in the final. The match will be played at De Kuip (neutral location). Who will emerge victorious, and who's going home heartbroken? Let's head into the match prediction. 

AZ Alkmaar have been presented with the opportunity to give their fans something worth celebrating this season: the KNVB Beker. 

It has been a difficult season for the hosts, particularly in the Eredivisie, where they are on the brink of finishing outside the top four for the first time in three years.

The Cheese Farmers booked their spot in the finals of the KNVB Beker courtesy of a 4-3 penalty shootout success against Heracles Almelo in the semifinal. The last time they appeared in the final was in 2018, and they lost 3-0 against Feyenoord. 

Go Ahead Eagles are content with their league performance this season. They are seventh and two points behind fifth-placed FC Twente. 

The pride of the IJssel booked their place in the final of the KNVB Beker by stunning PSV Eindhoven in the semifinals, winning 2-1 on the road. 

This will be their second ever appearance in the finals in club history. The last time they made it this far was in 1965, and unfortunately, they lost 1-0 to Feyenoord.
