Australia - Indonesia: Form Analysis
Australia came into this competition as one of the most fancied to win the tournament and have not disappointed so far. They topped their group in qualifying, starting with a 2-0 win over India, followed by a 1-0 win over Syria in match two. With a spot in the knockouts already secured after the first two games, the Socceroos went into the final group stage match with no pressure and played out a 1-1 draw against Uzbekistan. St Pauli midfielder Jackson Irvine was the top scorer for Australia in the group stages with two goals. With those results, the Socceroos are now unbeaten in their last seven games and won six of those matches. They also kept clean sheets in each of those six wins.
Meanwhile, for the first time in history, Indonesia advanced to the Round of 16 in the Asian Cup by clinching a spot as one of the top third-placed teams. This achievement came to fruition when Oman was unable to secure a victory against Kyrgyzstan on Thursday. The Red and White’s were beaten 3-1 by both Iraq and Japan in the group stages, with their saving grace coming in a 1-0 win over Vietnam on matchday two. Indonesia has now successfully progressed beyond the Asian Cup group stage for the first time in their history, following four previous appearances in 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2007. They stand alongside Thailand as one of the only two Southeast Asian teams to reach the round of 16 in this year's tournament.

Australia & Indonesia Squad Analysis
Graham Arnold opted to make several changes for his side’s final group stage match, but we should see a more familiar starting 11 in this one. Mitchell Duke missed the Socceroos' final group stage match against Uzbekistan due to a hamstring injury and is a doubt heading into Saturday’s Round of 16 match against Indonesia.
Indonesia are likely to be without the services of midfielder Egy Maulana Vikri, who was taken off the field on a stretcher in their last group-stage match after he was fouled by Japan and Liverpool’s Takumi Minamino. Elkan Baggott replaced Egy on the day and could make the starting 11 in this one.
