The second round of the German Cup takes place this week with Bundesliga clubs Augsburg and RB Leipzig going head to head at the WWK Arena on Tuesday night. Augsburg come into this game licking their wounds from a 2-0 home defeat against Frankfurt over the weekend. The loss means that Augsburg have now failed to win nine of their last 11 matches in all competitions. At home, they are winless in four games. Scoring goals is a problem for Augsburg with only four Bundesliga teams scoring fewer than their tally of 15. This poor attacking record may prove costly against a Leipzig with the best defensive record in the top flight. Leipzig have won their last four matches against Augsburg in all competitions.
