The fifth-placed hosts have 25 points while the seventh-placed visitors have 23. Atlanta are coming off a goalless draw against Los Angeles FC that made it four straight draws for them in the league. Wayne Rooney’s DC are coming on the back of a 2-1 win over Inter Miami that extended a mini-run of success for them. They have lost just one of their last six league matches, although drawing three. Rooney’s side remains one of the generous defences in the league, conceding 28 goals which is just behind Charlotte in the conference. The Blacks and Reds have however a chance to correct that as they have been mildly better on the travels. DC United have lost only two of their last seven away league games, winning three and drawing two.
