Improving Aston Villa look to make it three straight wins in the Premier League. They begin the weekend in 11th place, three places ahead of their opponents. While City are only three places below Villa, there is a gap of ten points between the two sides. Aston Villa have picked up well under new boss Unai Emery. A form guide for the last five league games has them in sixth place with ten points earned. That's compared to just one earned by City. Villa have had recent league wins over Leeds and Southampton and European football next season isn't out of the question. Seventh might be enough to get into the European Conference League and Villa are only three points adrift of that position. Only one of their last five home league games has been lost with five won at Villa Park this season.

Leicester City come into this game just a point above the Premier League relegation zone. They may be doing well in the FA Cup but their Premier League form has again slumped. City made a terrible start to the season, made a recovery but it's been downhill of late. Just one point from their last five league games has them in relegation trouble again. They drew their last league game 2-2 at home to Brighton (conceding a late goal) but had lost four in a row before that, failing to score in three of them. Away form has seen Leicester lose the last two league games, the most recent a 2-0 loss at Nottingham Forest. Back Villa to continue their good form and get another home win.
