Arthur Rinderknech vs Jan-Lennard Struff Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

Jan-Lennard Struff bids to reach the quarter-finals in Stuttgart for the second year in a row. The seventh seed faces unseeded Arthur Rinderknech in round two of this grass court tournament. The winner will face  either lucky loser Richard Gasquet or unseeded Brandon Nakashima in the last eight. The Austrian is currently 42nd in the live rankings which is seven places below the 35th position he holds in the latest published rankings. He's slipped down the list as he's defending the points earned when reaching the final of this BOSS Open last year. In the first round of this year's tournament, he beat unseeded Flavio Cobolli in straight sets, though the first went to a tie-break. He's 27th in the Live ATP Race and that's 55 places above the position currently held by his opponent.

Arthur Rinderknech is the world number 67 but up three places in the live list. That's a result of the Frenchman beating fellow unseeded player Alex Michelsen in straight sets. He's not got the greatest grass court record and three times at Wimbledon have each seen him exit in the first round. He did get to the last eight in Mallorca last year but didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 70, There's been one previous meeting with Struff and Rinderknech won that in straight sets but it was played on a hard court. Rinderknech has never made it past this stage of the BOSS Open and we don't believe he will this year either and predict a straight sets win for Struff.
