SC Braga begin the weekend fourth in the Primeira League and eight points behind leaders Sporting. They travel to Arouca who are bottom of the league with only six points. Braga have won six of their ten league games with two draws and a couple of defeats. They have 13 points from their last five league games since losing at Farense in mid-September. Midweek saw them lose 3-0 at Real Madrid in the Champions League but the goals have been flowing for them domestically. Last weekend saw them beat Portimonense 6-1 at home with Simon Banza hitting a seven minute hat-trick. They have now scored 19 goals in their last five league fixtures and will be looking to add to that total this weekend. Away form has seen Braga win three of their last five league fixtures with at least three goals being scored in four of those games.

Arouca prop up the table and are two points from safety at the start of this weekend. They have only won one league fixture this season and only scored nine goals in their ten games. Their sole win was a thrilling 4-3 home win over Estoril in which they trailed three times. That win came in mid-August and since then Arouca drew their next three league fixtures but come into this match having lost six successive games and only scoring in one of them. At home, Arouca's last three league matches have been lost without them getting on the scoresheet. We back Braga to win this match.
